Students at one local school should be well-prepared for Nevada nursing jobs.
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Nursing recently announced that 100 percent of its students passed the National Certification Licensure Examination during Q4 2009.
“The licensure exam is an important way to evaluate how effectively we’re preparing our students to enter the nursing workforce,” Dean Carolyn Yucha told The Rebel Yell. “We’re pleased that a record number of our students are graduating at a high level and are ready to meet the evolving healthcare needs of Nevadans.”
