Austin Part Time Jobs with Stockade

More Austin part time jobs could soon be made available by a popular chain of steakhouse restaurants.

Stockade Companies LLC recently announced its plans to open at least four new steakhouses in the Austin area during the near future. The company will open two or three Sirloin Stockade and two or three Montana Mike Steakhouse restaurants in the City of Austin within the next three years.

The new restaurants could result in about 600 new jobs and a total investment between $750,000 and $1 million. The company’s existing restaurants are usually between 8,000 and 9,000 square feet and employ anywhere from 100 to 115 employees.

Austin Tech Jobs Created through Partnership

One organization that helps young companies create Austin tech jobs is partnering with a local university to encourage businesses to become more green.

For the effort, the University of Texas is teaming up with Austin Technology Incubator, a nonprofit organization that provides developing companies with resources to support their transitions from early-stage ventures to successful businesses in the technology industry.

The main goal of Austin Technology Incubator is to create jobs and help Central Texas companies grow. The organization also has various sub-programs, such as the Clean Energy Incubator, that focus on certain business aspects.
