Magic Pot of Jobs

It all started at the office one day when two frustrated IT recruiters, were venting after a tough day of dealing with clueless jobseekers. “Don’t they understand that we make money by putting them to work?” Tiffany ranted. “What, do they think I have some kind of Magic Pot O’ Jobs in here? Do they think I am just capriciously denying or granting access to it?” And thus, MagicPotOfJobs.com was born.

There is no Magic Pot of Jobs. Recruiters make money by finding you a job. But too many candidates have no idea how to write a résumé, interview, or follow up, much less work with a recruiter to streamline the process.

So job searching, workplace issues, personal productivity, it’s all fair game here. Anything that will help you get- and keep!- a job you’ll love. Oh yeah, and maybe some particularly entertaining stories about the over-the-top stuff that happens in staffing agencies.
