One organization is helping to create hundreds of Baltimore healthcare jobs.
Bravo Health Inc., a Medicare Advantage plan dedicated to providing beneficiaries to high-quality, cost-effective healthcare, recently announced that it will keep its headquarters and operations center in Southeast Baltimore.
“Bravo’s decision to stay in Baltimore and expand their operations is great news for the people of this city,” Mayor Sheila Dixon said . “As we are weathering this difficult economy, it is important to remind people that Baltimore is a business-friendly city, and a great place to work and raise a family.”
The company is planning to expand and add an additional 200 jobs. The company currently employs about 570 people in Baltimore.
“As Bravo Health grows to meet the needs of its members, it is vital that our associates have a comfortable, accessible office space from which to work,” Jeff Folick, president and CEO of Bravo Health, said. “We’re proud to make Baltimore the site of our corporate headquarters, and pleased to be a part of such a vibrant community as Brewers Hill.”
The Baltimore Development Corporation, the city’s economic development agency, worked for several months with the healthcare company and Obrecht Commercial Real Estate to retain the company in the city.

Brodie said. “We know that the City of Baltimore is an attractive location with exceptional amenities to grow your business and Bravo Health has reconfirmed that.”
