My boss was telling me of another candidate for my job -- the guy was late (10 mins) to the first interview (but he was still in the running), and he showed up late for the second one. He declared that after 15 minutes, he called the guy to tell him not to bother. And then I got the job offer (I got to the parking lot 15 minutes early and strolled in all calm and collected and stuff) -- thanks to that guy for not being "charmingly" late!!! ;) I would love to see a study done on that, because there have got to be gender differences.
